BS Business Administration

The CHED recently enjoined Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) offering Bachelor of Science in Commerce to adopt the “Bachelor of Science in Business Administration” program, to include five major areas, namely: Human Resource Development Management, Marketing Management, Financial Management, Operations Management, and Business Economics.

The Business Administration program covers the integrated approach and interrelationship among the functional areas of business as well as sensitivity to the economic, social, technological, legal, and international environment in which business must operate.

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration

The College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA) offers Bachelor of Science in

Business Administration major in  Financial Management (FM) and Human  Resource Development Management (HRDM)  gearing towards preparing students in meeting the growing demands of the business and industry and the government service for skilled well-trained manpower.

The Business Administration major in Human  Resource Development Management (HRDM) program aims to :

1. Prepare the graduates for a career in the field of Human  Resource Development Management in various corporations whether in  the manufacturing , marketing  and service sectors, or in the different types of industries such as pharmaceutical, semi conductor, food and beverage, banking industries and other types of organizations.

2.Demonstrates the HR role in the organization and how they can make meaningful contributions as a strategic partner in building the organization to become globally competitive.

3.Articulate and discuss the latest development in the accountancy practice.

4.Effectively communicate orally and in writing using both English and Filipino language proficiency.

5.Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.

6.Act in recognition of professional, social and ethical responsibility.

7.Preserve and pronounce “Filipino historical and cultural heritage”.

8.Respond to the needs of community in relation to human resource management, livelihood and manpower services.

The Business Administration major in Financial Management (FM) program aims to :

1. Prepare the students to posses a strong foundation on theory, principles and concepts , as well as analytical tools and perspectives that would provide a sound and competitive basis for financial decision making.

2. Demonstrate professional knowledge and skills for career in financial department of general business, investment banking firms, broker-dealer firms , management consulting firms, various department of commercial banks and other financial institutions , central banks  and international financial institutions.

3. Articulate and discuss the latest development in the accountancy practice.

4. Effectively communicate orally and in writing using both English and Filipino language proficiency.

5. Work effectively and independently in multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural teams.

6. Act in recognition of professional, social and ethical responsibility.
